Playa Blanca

Playa Blanca is situated in the South of Lanzarote and lays in a 9km wide bay.

It used to be a small fishing village but recently Playa Blanca developed into a large holiday resort.

There is a shopping lane and a beach boulevard with many shops, bars and restaurants.

The resort is still quite peaceful and does not offer much nightlife.

Playa Blanca offers different sandy beaches and next to the village there are the Papagayo beaches. These are probably the most beautiful beaches of Lanzarote.

The town offers a view to the neighbouring islands Fuerteventura and Isla de Lobos.

From the harbor ferry lines connect Lanzarote with Fuerteventura.

Playa Blanca has also a new marina named Puerto Rubicon.
